The game loosely follows the plot of Julie's Central Series with Julie as the player character. Throughout the game, various mini games are interspersed into the plot. Julie also locates new outfits that she wears and beads that can be displayed on a purse.
The game's world is divided into different zones. Entrances to other areas are usually denoted by a lower-quality backdrop of the zone to be visited, or an interior model with a lower level of detail.
The game also offers two-player multiplayer with three of the mini games.
