Code Vein is an open world action role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian environment and played from a third-person perspective.[5] Its gameplay was inspired by the Dark Souls series of games with animation inspired by God Eater 3, both Bandai Namco properties with Code Vein sharing the staff of the latter.[6][7][8]
